As I've mentioned, the Capitals are pretty much stuck with what they've got on defense.  They're too close to the salary cap and have too many guys signed to reasonable contracts to upgrade.  The problem is that by holding on to Milan Jurcina and Shaone Morrisonn they're potentially blocking Karl Alzner and John Carlson from making the team out of training camp.  This reminds me of a situation faced by Jemaine and Bret of Flight of the Conchords, immortalized in the techno song "Too Many Dicks on the Dance Floor."
