Is there a direct correlation between Rockies hitting and the erratic spring weather in Colorado? Or is the correlary between the Rockies' bullpen and home field attendance? Either way, we're starting to see the annual home fans’ enthusiasm wilt - 51,000 to 35,000 to 21,000 as the Rocks drop another one to Philadelphia Easter Sunday, 7-5.

All the side streets in LoDo just a few blocks from the ballpark provide 2 hour metered parking spots. A quarter will get you 15 minutes and if you have 8 you can stretch your stay to two hours. Clint Hurdle decided to park on the street today and fumbled with the pile of change in his pocket only to pull out 6 nickels. The way the season has been going so far it looked like it would be enough to beat the parking police.

Clint Hurdle was serious when he put his starters on notice that with the acquisition of Jason Hammels from Tampa Bay, he would be sending one of his starters down to Colorado Springs. Franklin Morales seemed to be the guy who was sitting on that bubble and no sooner had he posted his first win of the season, he was informed he had been replaced.
