Dustin Pedroia has not been in the major leagues long, but he has certainly made a name for himself throughout the first four years of his career. This youngster seemed to come out of a nowhere and fit right in with the powerful Red Sox lineup.
His baseball career began in Woodland, California, where he played high school ball. During his senior year, Pedroia batted .445 and was the league's MVP.

Okay, so Big Papi ain't exactly what we Red Sox fans wished he would be this season. But what better place for him to get hit bat going than the Bronx. The right field bleachers have been a magnet for dingers this season. Big Papi has to settle down and get going. Hitting a mere .222 this season, Ortiz has no homeruns to his credit yet. He had a nice game against the Yanks on Monday night.... 2 for 3 (both doubles) with an RBI and 2 walks.

Firstly, I want to apologize for my lack of blogging. The Sox are a storied franchise and people NEED their Sox news. I’ve just been having some computer issues that will hopefully be fixed in the near future. I guess we’ll see if this blog gets posted or not. My fingers are crossed.

Two games into the the Sox's 2009 season and we begin to see some ups and downs. The fact remains that we have a long season ahead of us and only time could tell what is to come. Health, although alright at the moment is still a question is everyone's mind when it comes to Lowell, Drew and Beckett - but again, the season is still young. We still have time to rise to the top or fall to the bottom. And with a couple strong games out of the Toronto Blue Jays, the division might be a little tighter come year's end.

As a Red Sox season lays on the horizon it’s time for fans to get used to a few things. Firstly, Manny Ramirez is gone… for the entire season. Secondly, we aren’t the reigning champs although Red Sox fans like myself like to believe that we’re always the champions. And lastly, Curt Schilling’s future is no longer in question. He’s gone as well.
