So it turns out the reason Dana White had to kick off one of the fighters is because they had herpes on their neck. I can’t tell you how bad I felt for this guy. Not only was everyone so rude about it when they first saw it in the gym, saying “oh I’m not going to roll with this guy and go home with that”. Come on guys!! Yes it is not something that you would want to catch while training, obviously! But do you think that he’s proud that he has that? Not only are you guys being unsupportive, disrespectful and in my opinion pretty darn mean, he also is aware that this is being broadcasted on national t.v for everyone to see. Then the poor guy gets told that he has to leave the show. Like Dana said, it’s one thing to kick someone off because of something that they’ve done, but to tell this guy he has to leave because of a disease he has, is really sad. I understand completely why Dana made the decision he did. There was absolutely no way that he could risk all the other people in the gym catching herpes. It was just really hard to watch a man’s dream being shattered.
I think it was so great of Rampage to stop by the house check on his fighters and get to know them. I think it really showed the kind of person that he is. He took the time to ask each of them who they were and what their lives at home were like. Not only did he learn about the fighters but they learned about each other. As much as MMA isn’t a team sport, there is such a huge mental component to it. If you have people there that you feel support you, know you, and care about how you do, you are much more likely to be mentally healthy compared to those who feel alone and isolated from everyone they love. Also Rampage showing them that he’s human and he cares about them probably will make them feel more comfortable to come to him for advice.
Jesse Taylor (team Forrest) Vs Mike Dolce (team Rampage)
The first round of the fight consisted of Jesse Taylor going for rear naked choke after rear naked choke unsuccessfully as his arm was around Mike Dolce’s chin not his neck. Although he wasn’t successful with his submission attempts, I would give him the first round because he was on top for most of the fights and ended the round strongly.
Round two ended quickly surprisingly with a rear naked choke by Taylor. (I think he likes that move haha). Jesse decided not to pace himself at all in the fight and paid for it in the end with a bucket full of puke. But on the bright side Dana now gives you $5,000 for stopping the fight (which he did in previous seasons) AND another $5,000 just for winning (The difference being, in the past seasons you only got $5,000 for stopping the fight, nothing if you won by decision). So Jesse Taylor is now up $10,000. Not bad at all!
All in all it was another great episode!

The Ultimate fighter is on again tonight on spike!
It looks like the Drama begins already with Dana White Kicking someone out of the house for a reason that he’s never kicked someone out for before! I can’t wait to see what it is.
The preview also indicated an exciting fight in the ring. Showing fighters throwing up and giving it their all.
Last weeks episode was action packed, but this week the show will be interesting to you even if you don’t know what’s going on in the fights. There most likely will be only one fight at the end of the episode. So tune in and get into the most exciting sport just in time for the UFC this Saturday where our Canadian will go for the belt!
