Albert Pujols named NL MVP

Albert Pujols has been named the National League MVP, taking 18 of 32 first place votes. Ryan Howard finished in 2nd place while Ryan Braun and Manny Ramirez finished 3rd and 4th respectively.

This marks the 2nd NL MVP for Albert Pujols, who led the NL in nearly every statistical categoy (including defensive statistics), except homeruns and RBI’s which belonged to Howard.
AL MVP annoucenment expected at 2pm tomorrow.
