49ers 35 Rams 16 - Week 11- POSTGAME

The Rams continued in embarrassing performances this year with a 35-16 blowout by the host, San Francisco 49ers. It marked the first win for 49ers interim head coach Mike Singletary. It also solidified the Rams (2-8) hopes of making the post season but a dream.
In what is becoming typical of the Rams this season, they were out played on offense and defense. QB Bulger was 34/53 for 295 yards 1 TD, and 2INT. Another poor performance, especially in terms of taking care of the football. RB Jackson did not play in this one so any chance the Rams might have had of using the clock to their advantage with the run game, went out the window. His replacement, Antonio Pittman, had 14 carries for 95 yards, a 6.8 avg, but no TDs.
For the Rams the only player who seems to be showing up is K Josh Brown, who should be a Pro Bowl kicker for the NFC. He is the only reason the Rams are getting points this season. That is bad news. Remember he’s the kicker people.
So the Rams laid another stinker, thus effectively ending their season and shot for a playoff birth. Instead of fans getting ready for the stretch drive and run for the playoffs, players and coaches are beginning to auditon for next year. What a shame for St. Louis, a team that was once the greatest show on turf. Expect major changes this season to get this team on track. No one’s job is safe. Losing of this magnitude is not acceptable and should not be tolerated by the fans.

Maybe if we take your team, and my team and put them together, then get an entirely new coaching staff and ownership, maybe we could be good.
Just a thought!
