The Baltimore Ravens travel to New York to face the Giants on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EST on CBS. This match up could possibly the toughest game of the season for the Ravens. The Ravens sit at 6-3 and are tied for the division lead with the Steelers. The Giants are the best team in football right now and have been a hard team to play against all season long. The Ravens added their sixteenth player to IR this week S Dwan Landry. Landry has missed most of the season with a neck injury and it was determined this week that he could not play this season. WR Derrick Mason is questionable for this week’s game from a shoulder injury he suffered last week and I speculate that he will play.
Keys To Victory
Protect Flacco- Giants have one of the best pass rushes in the game and it will be crucial to protect Flacco so he can run the Ravens offence. If the Ravens offence wants to have any success they will have to protect Flacco.
Stop the Run- Ravens will have to stop the Giants good running game and force them to pass. The Ravens have been winning a lot of games on the defensive side of the ball this season when they force teams to pass.
Special Teams- The Ravens will need everything to be working and they can’t give up any big special team plays. The Ravens cannot give the Giants good field position because they will capitalize with their offence.
Everything will have to be working for the Ravens to win this game. Offence, defence and special teams. The Giants are a very good team and it will be a tough game for the Ravens. The roll that the Ravens are on right now I just cannot predict them to lose. I am predicting the Ravens to pull off the upset 23-20.
