Raiders go to Miami….Weeeeee!!!!!!!!!

The Oakland Raiders will travel to Miami, to face the much improved Dolphins.

Oakland came to florida last year and spanked the dismal Fins in 1 of our 4 wins for a year ago.

Even though the Raiders looked to be the better team last year, they are the heavy underdog this time around. One would have thought that both teams would have been on the “bottom of the barrel” mend from disapointing seasons of late, and that The Raiders would be in the lead of that race back to good. However, with such a great surge from the Dolphins, and a wildfire of disfunction within the Raiders camp, it looks as though the Fins should lay a thorough lashing of the lowly Raiders.

I cannot try to throw some great speach about overcoming obsticles, and surging through the void of reckage that has been thrust into the path of the Raider faithful, and I most definately cannot make a bold prediction for a win from Al’s team. However, depending on the point spread, I could say that Oakland has a chance at covering. If that is of any consolation at all.

We are in trouble. Not only being a west coast team traveling to the east (which has provided 0 wins to date this year), and that we are the underdog, and a far more disfunctional team, but we are also in the midst of trying to avoid a mutany aboard our ship. With players being dumped, and coaches booted out, this team is one more bad move from anarchy.

What really hurts, is knowing that if we don’t get things straightened out soon, at the end of the year we will loose players like Asomugha and Burgess. Asomugha being the far bigger loss of course.

So here is my prediction. Oakland gets beat, and they may get beat badly, but I am going to hope that they at least look respectable, and show signs of improvement.

 

On a second note, I am taking the Patriots to beat the Jets tonight. I will have the rest of my picks by the weekend.
