Rams vs. Jets - Week 10- POSTGAME

The Rams got beat up bad on Sunday by the NY Jets, losing in a blowout 47-3. It was the biggest margin of victory for the Jets in team history and another loss for the Rams (2-7) whose chances at a mid season playoff run are all but over.
Coming into this game, the Rams had won 7 straight against the Jets. However, this one wasn’t even close from the beginnig and by half was already over with the Jets having a 40-0 lead.
Coach Jim Haslett described the game as “embarrassing”, saying it was bad football all the way around and he could not even put into words to describe the game.
In an all too familiar script this season for the Rams, they were controlled on both sides of the ball, completely dominated from start to finish.
It looks like the team should get ready for the offseason and the NFL draft if this play continues. Because no one is playing inspired football or cares enough to correct their mental mistakes they are making game after game. It has been another tough year for Rams fans. Let’s hope it does not continue.

They just are not that big of a threat without Jackson in the line up. I think they can still make a difference in that division, Jackson just needs to get healthy

Too many blowouts for this Rams team so far this season. 40-0 at the half is actually worse than the Cards 34-0 beat down by the Jets at halftime. Jets are feasting on the NFC West though, I am not so sure the Jets are as good as their record.

Jackson is the sole source of offense for this team right now. If he isn’t going or isn’t playing the Rams can’t put up points. I like your never say die attitude. The Rams will have to turn it around quick if they want to make a run at the division.

Yeah they got killed no question. As for the Jets, I would agree with you on this one. Big game with the Pats. We will see if they show up or prove to be like the Bills were last week.

Do you think they’ll keep Haslett on as head coach. I think about what type of team they would be if he was the coach instead of the other guy.
