Panthers Win UGLY!!!!

After coming off a bye week as I predicted in my last post I thought the Panther’s would blow out the Raiders boy was I wrong again! I can not figure this team out and to win UGLY like they did, they should feel very fortunate.
Not since my days in the ONTFL have I seen a team stick with a quarterback regardless of his performance on the field.
John Fox should have sit Jake in the 3rd Quarter after his 4th interception as he was truly not on, to give him a piece of humble pie. If this team’s sole prowess revolves completely around Jake then they are running the risk of what happens if he gets hurt? Do we remember last season? Moore or McCown should have been given a shot especially when Jake’s QB rating dropped below 15???
Was this game a case of the Raiders playing really well on D or the Panther’s stinking the joint out on offense? I think it was a combination of both. I am not going to go into statistics like I usually do because I do not want to be reminded of the horror show that they presented on the field. I will only say THANK YOU to Julius Peppers and De Angelo Williams for single handily winning this game for the Panthers.
They say that good teams find ways to win and win ugly well on Sunday November 9th 2008 the Carolina Panthers did just that!!! With the hapless Detroit Lions on deck! oh boy!! what am I too expect this game?

Unfortunately I was one of the poor suckers who watched the entire game yesterday. That’s what happens when you are still alive in a suicide pool. You tend to not watch the best game going on at the time. Oh well, even though I will never ever get those 3 hours back again, the good news is that I am still alive!
Jersey, just one queston, were you talking about yourself as the QB the team stuck with?

What a horrible effort by Carolina, quite surprised by it. John Fox won’t stand for this next week. Taking teams lightly usually burns you.

I was very dissapointed with the effort but a win is a win as long as that performance is left in Oakland. The Panthers have always had an ugly habit of playing down or up to the competition, I am banking on John Fox to crack the whip and I am expecting a HUGE game against the lowly Lions this weekend!

Picking the Panthers in a suicide pool was a no brainer last week and the fact they stunk it out kept you watching for your picks sake lol…
As far as the QB question you would need to ask our Matt Millen of our organization he would be better to ask
