NHL Hockey Is Coming!

As you may have noticed, the NHL is coming soon to Sportstalkbuzz!! This is a very exciting time, as the scope of the site is expanded and new growth will occur. However, there is a lot of work to be done…
You may notice some site functionality issues periodically over the next 5-7 days, and for that, apologies are in order. These interruptions are somewhat needed however, as test environments often vary in practical terms from live environments…
I won’t get into details about what you can expect from the new hockey section, as that is being handled by Kevin and Mark, but I can tell you it’s very exciting!!!
I will be covering the Rangers, and we hope to have a full complement of bloggers covering each of the league’s 30 teams.
Onwards and upwards!

Great. I grew up a Rangers fan and shed a few tears in 94. It was a long wait from the GAG line to the cup.

Good stuff Dan. Hopefully as a Ranger analyst you can help me find some hope for the offense with this team. They do have the talent there, but I can see why its a struggle to get 3 goals a game. And the sad thing is if they could just score 3 goals a game they would hardly lose since Lundqvist rarely allows more than 2.

We’ll start with some content hitting the site today and tomorrow, but no where near what we’ll have once Dan weaves his magic in the back-of-the-house.
There will be a lot more once we get the new layout, but we’ve decided to let the Bloggers loose so that they can start to get a feel for things.
We currently have about 13 or 14 roster spots open (11 or 12 of those open are western teams) so if you know someone who might be good have them send me an email to markgage@sportstalkbuzz.com
