Titans Look to Remain Perfect at Soldier Field

The undefeated Titans look to get their 9th win on Sunday afternoon in a tough matchup with the first place Chicago Bears.  The Bears are 3-1 at home and it looks like it will be a defensive battle since the weather forecast is for strong winds and a chance of snow.

The key to this game, and most Titans games, will be the line play.  If the offense line continues to play as they have thus far this season you can expect them to control the clock with the tandem running game of White and Johnson and the short passing game featuring Bo Scaife.

The Titans do have some concerns with injuries on the defensive side of the ball with Kyle Vanden Bosch being doubtful for Sunday and Keith Bulluck also questionable.  Those are two big cogs on the defense and they will be missed if they can’t go, especially in what looks to be a defensive battle.

Will it be Orton or Grossman on Sunday?  Orton’s injury appears to be minor and he may even go on Sunday. However, with the weather concerns I expect him to be on the sideline and for Grossman to start.  The Titans will look to put pressure on him and force turnovers.   This game features the top two teams in the NFL in turnover margin so it will simply come down to who wins the turnover battle.

I like the Titans in this one in a low scoring game.  13-10.

Make Sure to look for William Hillock’s Bears take on the game.
