Bears Mid-Week Hits

Could the Bears be the team to knock the Titans off their high horse this week, giving them their first loss of the season? The Titans margin of victory has been dwindling with each passing week, and Bears fans would like nothing more than to topple the NFL’s best team thus far.
- Great news on the QB front, as Baby T-Rex Grossman may not have to fill in for the injured Kyle Orton after all. Orton’s injury turned out only to be a mild sprain, and while originally reports said he would be sideline for 4 weeks, there is a chance he could return this week. Having Orton in the lineup would be a huge boost to the Bears offense, who would of relied on Matt Forte’s running moreso than the passing game.
- Brandon Lloyd looks ready to return, having a full participation in today’s practice. Having a healthy Lloyd, a consistent Devin Hester, and Rashied Davis will give the Bears a potent receiving trio.
- Congrats to Matt Forte who has been nominated for NFL Rookie of the Week after posting his best numbers of the season. He keeps improving his game week in and week out, he has my vote that’s for sure.
