Unbelievable - Arizona calls timeout to try to ice the kicker and in so doing nullify a blocked kick that would have one tthe game. Dallas makes the kick on the second try and wins the toss to get the ball first in OT! Incredible - maybe this will eliminate that annoying “ice the kicker” timeout strategy…

How can you dictate when a team is allowed to call a timeout? That's the logistical flaw in getting rid of "icing the kicker"... Besides which, I honestly don't think that has much of an impact on a professional athlete unless it's actually cold out....

Well, Dallas still gets screwed, but in the end, the Cards kinda deserved it. My ticket (point-spread) was shot by the Cowboys' ineffective defence and also Denver choking... Oh well, next week is a new slate!

Also, if anyone plays those college pool games, or hockey pools, let me know! I've always wanted to know what those box picks are all about, and am willing to share proceeds with anyone who tips me off!

Cheers,
dan
PS - The duck tonight was AMAZING!!! Gotta love mom's cooking, even if I've surpassed her in many areas of the culinary arts... :)

HAHA! I just wrote a thing about how I hate that rule too!

I wanted Dallas to lose, but at the same time it was nice watching him make that kick after having it blocked!

And just before I go, Romo pooches another one for a safety… Don’t challenge this play you morons!!! Clearly he was pulling the ball back in…

They somehow how the call overturned!

Enjoy the dinner buddy!

Wow, Skins cannot get their stuff together on this one. Leaving it at 2 seconds with a field goal to Ram for a loss.

Honestly, after their 2 huge road wins, it is next to impossible for teams to get up for an 0-4 team like STL, its the NFL, and you have to pick and choose your spots.
