Tough Test Against Jags

Many folks want to say the Denver Broncos are a big favorite in this game based on the fact that the Broncos currently sit at 4-1 while the Jags sit at 2-3. I can tell you that many people would of circled this as a game the Jags would win prior to the start of the season, so what has changed since opening day?
For one the Denver Broncos are scoring at will. Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall continue to impress, and with Marshall coming off a slow week I would be nervous if I was the Jags D. Denver has knocked off 3 solid teams in the Bucs, Chargers, and Saints so people now are starting to believe this Broncos team is for real.
On the flip side the Jags have had a rough start to the year but lets keep in mind who they have had to play. The Jags losses have come to the Steelers, Bills, and Titans who are all very good football teams, and they knocked off Indy and Houston. The Jags in my opinion are not getting enough love and now are looking a big game in the face. If the Jags can beat Denver they are looking at games against the Browns and Bengals to try and get their record to 5-3 heading into a big game against the Titans. Heck the Jags only lost by a combined 16 points in those 3 games! which goes to show how easily this team could have a much better record.
This game to me will be settled on how well the Jags run the ball and how the Broncos D plays. No doubt in my mind that Denver will be able to put up points against the Jags but the question to me is will they be able to stop the Jags from controlling the clock and the score? Don’t forget the Jags have 2 very good backs in Jones-Drew and Taylor and the Broncos had some serious trouble in their only loss with Larry Johnson.
Jay Cutler could also be a huge piece in this battle. Cutler has the ability to put up points in a hurry and the Jags can’t really counter that (in terms of putting up quick scores). If Garrard feels the need to try and keep up with Cutler this game could be over in a hurry.
Now time for my fantasy plays of the week.
Cutler and Marshall - look for a big week from this combo as per the norm.
Eddie Royal - Don’t start Eddie in any format this week as he is banged up.
Pittman - Currenly the best start in the Denver backfield for fantasy purposes as he has a lock on the goalline job. Look for Pitt to see the endzone at least once.
Scheffler - Will be out of the lineup on Sunday so make sure he is on your fantasy bench this week.
Prediction
Should be a fun one. I have the Broncos winning 27-21 in a game that will prove the Broncos are for real.

Sandy after the KC meltdown are you nervous that you run D might be exposed over the next 3 games?

This Jags team certainly can run the ball and are flying under the radar a bit due to their start. This should be a good one.
