Bears Mid-Week Hits

Coming off their second win in a row, the Bears look to make it 3 as they get ready to face the Atlanta Falcons Sunday afternoon. The Falcons have been somehwat of a surprise, it will be interesting to see what plays out.
- Although Devin Hester has had consecutive solid weeks, it would be nice to see a little more flash on punt returns, much like Reggie Bush did Monday night. Hester has yet to return a punt, let along get one deep in the opposing teams’ end.
- Brandon Lloyd did not participate in today’s practice, and it seems he may miss a second straight week. It is unfortunate for him having been the Bears leading receiver a few weeks ago.
- Coming off a career game, Kyle Orton has some confidence heading into Atlanta. It finally looks as if things are coming together…then again one doesn’t want to jump ahead of things.
- It seems as if Coach Smith’s attitude of playing the individuals who give the Bears the best chance at winning is starting to pay off, with the likes of Israel Idonije taking over for the injured Tommy Harris, and Corey Graham and Nick Roach both receiving more time as well. I for one completely agree with this philosophy, and hope to see it through the whole season.
More on Friday!

Weird enough, this team is flying under radar. Nobody is noticing them, but they are quietly piling up wins. Just outsiders perspective. Everyone talks about NYG, Dallas, Carolina and Washington but nobody mentions Chicago.
