What to say. I waited until today to write up something on the Cubs because the words coming out of my mouth on the weekend could not be posted on here. Monday morning at 10:00 I still have nothing to say. This team was nothing short of a disgrace in the post-season. They got outplayed in every single part of the game and deserved to get knocked out in three straight games. What kind of team has every infielder commit an error? This team couldn’t hit to save their lives, however I will give DLee some props as he gave it his all in game 3. Lee was trying his best and got on base a few times to do nothing more than stand in 1 spot.
This team had a regular season to remember, with lots of great memories that started day 1 with Fukudome but ended in shame. Everyone on the planet knew it was World Series or bust for the Cubs this year and they didn’t even get past round 1 again! hell they didn’t even win a game!
Cubs fans I do hope you have other pro teams that don’t let you down as much. I myself have the Broncos…thank heavens because my Senators usually let me down as well. Who knows how long it will be before the Cubs win. Perhaps another 100 years. This group will need to be looked at now that the season is over. Currently the only players I would like to see back are Lee, Theriot, Zambrano, Harden, Wood, Marmol, and the rest you can do whatever you feel like with.
I will be back later in the day to talk about another win for the Broncos! you can email me with comments or questions at sandygemmiti@sportstalkbuzz.com

One Response to “Maybe Next Year”

No clutch hitting, similar to the Sens not getting scoring from their key guys back in the early part of the decade.
I wonder how Anaheim and Chicago feel about clinching early now? Clinching later has it advantages as crazy as that sounds.
