RICKY WILLIAMS POT URGE

Ricky has come out and said this past bye week he was tempted to smoke marijuana. Williams told The Miami Herald for Tuesday’s editions that when players were given Friday off, “automatically your mind, which is so constrained since training camp began … says, `I’m free, what can I do?”’ “So there was definitely an urge,” he said. “But I just thought about what I have to lose, and it was easy. The urge didn’t last very long.”
I hope he doesn’t fall off the wagon after the last game against New England. Ronnie and Ricky showed how great of a tandem they can be, and I for one would like to see this continue. If Williams where to test positive again, that would most likely end his NFL career.Â
What do you guys think? Will he stay off the weed? I think so, since he knows he has no chances left and he needs the money.

By openly admitting he’s had the urge should help him fight the demons. Sounds to me like he’ sfinally grown up a bit and I believe he can stay away from it and finish off his career strongly.

I agree Jamie, Ricky has definitely come a long way. Plus he even negotiated his own contract without his agent. He is back on the right path. Can’t wait to see how the combo does on Sunday against the Chargers.

I think he has grown up as well but I wouldn’t be at all shocked to see him slip up. Dude is not bright
