Rams Preview- Week 4- VS Bills

A Buffalo stampede is coming to the Edward Jones Dome this Sunday. The 3-0 Buffalo Bills, off to their best start in 16 years, are coming off a thrilling 24-23 win against the Oakland Raiders and travel to St. Louis to face the 0-3 Rams who are just looking to get in the win column.

With the the Bills, the Rams face a tough test. They are leading the AFC East. They have demonstrated through the first three weeks the ability to come behind and win close games. They are playing solidly on offense, defense, and specialty teams. Contrast this to the Rams, who have not found any consistency this season, they are in for a tough game before their Week 5 bye.

So where does that leave us for predictions. Trent Green gets the start for the Rams. He is a little older than Bulger, less mobile, and battling concussion issues that almost ended his career. Not the best things you can say about your starter. Although it appears that the Rams have made a downgrade at the QB situation, it still remains to be seen and Sunday will surely give us the answer of what Green is capable of.

The Rams need to show more fight if they want to even try and play with the Bills. They can complain about Bulger not being in the lineup, as Steven Jackson did on a St. Louis radio station recently, or about any other issues facing the team, however the problem is they aren’t competing like a team in the NFL should.

So as Sunday awaits, I have only one request. Keep it close. The Rams fans deserve better from their team.

I am hearing that Jackson, as well as a few other un-named players are not happy with the QB change. I also heard that Bulger will not play for Linehan. Any truth to all of this?

This has to be exactly what the Bills want, dissention in the locker room! Bulger wanting out and Jackson/other teammates questioning the HC…..WOW! They should like the Ottawa Senators of last year when it comes to locker room distractions. The starting goalie thing was an issue, and now in STL its the QB position…….a few parallels for sure

It is a true story. More in my blog about it.

For sure Kevin. The Bills must be loving this and it is only Week 4…there is still 12 games to go. What is shaping up in St. Louis could be the football equivalent of how last years Sens were.
