Redskins Travel to Texas To Take On Cowboys In NFL’s Biggest Rivalry

Football does not get any better than this:  Redskins vs. Cowboys doted by Sports Illustrated as “the top NFL rivalry of all time” and “one of the greatest in sports.” It is certainly the games I look forward to every season as a Skins fan.

The season so far on Fantasy Football has Dallas beating Washington in every category.

However, as any football fan knows, the stats don’t mean anything when it comes to these two teams.  They mean business when they meet and it is about exciting as any playoff game can be.

Dallas is sitting at 3-0 and Washington at 2-1 (Washington’s only loss was against the former super bowl champ New York Giants).  Dallas has a consistent power offense, while Washington started slow, but is improving game by game.  The defenses on both sides are fairly close, but Washington has injuries.  However, Washington does have some great cornerbacks in Smoot, Rogers and Springs, so look for lots of coverage on Dallas’ receivers.

The Dallas Cowboys are favoured by 11-11.5 points over the underdog Washington Redskins.  I think it will be a much closer game by 4 and they may just be able to win if they can keep the scores close by the 4th.  I will be wearing my #47 Jersey and glued to the set.

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I don’t think the Redskin’s have a chance in this match up against the power house Cowboy team, it could certainly be closer than the spread you make mention of Mercedes. Washington is getting better and better with every game played but remember the Cowboys are already great and it is tough for a team getting better to beat a great team like the Cowboys with all the weapons the Cowboys have. I do think the Redskins will cover but a win will mean a flawless Redskin game and an error-filled Cowboy team. Good luck and can’t wait until the post-game blog…..’Stantsy’

Double digit fav over a division rival. Anyone who bets with any regularity knows you never play the fav in this spot. Take the points, its far too much chalk.

I am not a betting man but I do agree 100%. The Redskins will not let down and I see no reason why this game cannot be close or at least within the points. Well I do see a couple reasons, I will start with the names Romo, Owens, Witten, Barber, Crayton, A. Jones, F. Jones and about 3 tons of defense…….should be a good game…..
