FSU looking to rebound against Colorado

Back from Colorado and ready to go into this weeks contest.
This week Florida St is taking on the visiting Colorado Buffaloes. Having been out to see Colorado this past week to play West Virginia I am not impressed by them at all. If defensive cordinator Mickey Andrews looks at the tape its almost like Colorado liked to runs the same 4 plays all game long.
Florida St will have all players back from suspension and will have everybody available for this game. It will be good to see what they will be able to do and not be limited in what options they have to use in a game. Offensive players will have to step up even further in this game like Christian Ponder, D’Vontrey Richardson, Antone Smith, & a whole host of recievers. They have to take what they couldn’t do against Wake Forest and turn it into a positive.
In this weeks game the Seminoles have many areas that need to be fixed or tweaked after 7 turnovers (5 interceptions & 2 fumbles), no passing game, no running game, 220 total yard, & 12 penalties.
Colorado has some players to watch out for in Rodney Stewart, Darrell Scott, & Josh Smith (He is also Darrell’s uncle & Tallahassee native). I was very impressed with these 3 watching them on TV and live. One player I was not impressed with was QB Cody Hawkins, very tentative in his throws, lacks arm strength, & looks down his target.
Last but not least a word for Mr. Ponder don’t ever talk smack when you haven’t done anything to earn that right. Win big games, put up big time performaces, & be humble.

I really hope the Noles get going again….that loss to wake was unforgivable….how is it that it took the Gators almost 20 years to win in doak and now even the Wake Forest’s of the world walk in there and win…
I wish for FSU to get back on track just to make that november win that much sweeter for gator fans !!!
nice post.

Not to take anything from Wake Forest they have a nice program going. It also shows how far the ACC has dropped.
I think as much good as playing those first 2 games helped FSU it also hurt them in thinking they were better then they really are. Not to mention the dumb move 30 players made in cheating on a test in resulting in suspensions.
FSU is still sometime away with working in the youth they have and continued success with the recruiting.
Hate to say Sebastian but this may not be much of a good match up for at least another 2 to 3 years.
If FSU’s last 2 classes plus this one coming up can help and help fast it oculd be sooner.

This really should be a great match-up! Buffs have to get up after their emotional home win over WV!
Welcome back James from the MidWest!

Thank you Kev, I was not impressed with CU, it seemed like when Hawkins tossed his interception they lost confidence in him and then they just ran what seemed like the same 4 plays.
Let’s keep this is mind FSU’s defense is far better then what West Virginia has and CU only managed 17 against them.
I am not sure if it’s on TV here in philly but I will miss at least the first quarter due to attending the Flyers vs. Canes pre-season tilt at the Spectrum before they soon bring it down.
