DE Jason Taylor Undergoes Medical Procedure and Will Not Play In Dallas Game

With the upcoming game against the Redskins’ biggest rival in Dallas, every possible player in defense is needed, especially in pass rushing.  DE Jason Taylor was kicked in the calf during the Cardinals game and had to undergo a “medical procedure” to prevent any permanent nerve damage.  He will not be playing against Dallas, but could play against Philadelphia the week after.

The Redskins are definitely the underdog against Dallas, but as a fan, I kinda like that.  They are a modest team that has been showing great improvement with every week.  The only thing I would love more than the Redskins having a winning season is to have the Redskins defeat Dallas after everyone in the league is assuming they will lose.  This is NFC football at its best!

being the Cowboy blogger I would dispute everything you say Mercedes….:-). With that being said, the Redskins / Cowboys always play intense football and look for the game to be close but it would be nice if Taylor could play as he will be missed by your Redskins defense. Should be a good one with a good fight. I am not sure the Redskins can compete with the Cowboys but with it being such an intense rivalry, never know what can happen. ‘Stantsy’

This will definitely hurt the Skins. The Skins pass rush was tremendous in their win over Arizona.

I think this quote kinda says it all:

“As fanatics of the Redskins, I think we can all agree that this game is the most important, especially for those of us who have ‘friends’ that are Cowboys fans. No true fan could miss this game. This game is about bragging rights, and I am firm in the thought that the Skins will do it this week.”:

Why are the Skins 11.5-point underdogs? It’s ridiculous!

It seems like alot but makes you wonder if Vegas is onto something. I never play on a fav of double digit points against a division rival.

Especially Wsh/Dal. These games are always close.

That’s the biggest spread this week. Denver is close with 9 points over Kansas City but KC is 0-3! There’s a huge bias towards Dallas.

No doubt Dallas has looked like the best team so far, but anyone who’s stupid enough to take Dallas clearly doesn’t understand football or this rivalry.

This is also the last time the Redskins will be playing in Texas Stadium. They’re going to give it everything they have!

    Ditto!
