Broncos Move to 3-0

The Denver Broncos won again, and again at the last seconds!

Gramatica had a big miss and for another week folks are going to call the Denver Broncos the luckiest team in football.  Do I agree?  Not a chance.  Do I think they have some valid points? Yes.  But I always go by the saying “You have to be lucky to be good, and good to be lucky”

Folks will point to the missed field goal, and various other missed plays or big stops by the Broncos that kept them as the victors but you could easily pick a few plays in the game that leaves the Saints in the dust.  Marshall could of easily had a few more scores and was hands down the difference in this game.  Jay Cutler looked much more human although he still had a solid game and looks to be in fine control of the Denver team.

I have to say I am thrilled as a Broncos fan to see the QB and WR combo we have right now.  Bronco fans haven’t had the pleasure of watching this kind of action since Elway, and he never really had an amazing WR to go with him.  Sure Rod Smith was good but I have the feeling Marshall will crush his Bronco records.  Add to the fact the Broncos have been known as the team that runs the ball for so long it is just joy to watch them air it out to guys like Marshall, and Royal.

Next up are the dirty old Chiefs!  Going into Arrowhead Stadium is never a fun task for the Broncos, so even though we are at 3-0 and are facing a not so hot Chiefs team I still have concerns.
