Raiders vs Bills & Week #3 picks

In week #2 I went 10-5 as Washington and San Fransisco took me by suprise. I was not shocked to see Buffalo, New England and Pittsburgh win, but I picked the opposite because they were playing at home. All in all 10-5 is not bad, and it is an improvement on my 9-7 in week #1.
Before I give my picks, just a quick hit on some Raiders news.
On the injury report is Justin Fargas (groin), Darren McFadden (turf toe) and Javon Walker (hamstring). Both Walker and McFadden are expected to play, but Fargas is unlikely to suit up. This will give us a better look at Michael Bush, and I for one think that he will have a very good game.
The pressure will be on Jamarcus Russell, as Buffalo is far better against the Run then against the pass. Oakland will need Russell to step up, if they are going to have any kind of chance against a stout Buffalo team.
I will be in attendance for this game, and I will be dripping in Raiders gear. Unfortunately, I have to pick the Bills in this one though. I think that the game is going to be a lot closer then many are predicting, but in the end, Buffalo is far more prepared to make that playoff push this year.
If Oakland is going to have a chance to win, we are going to need 5 things to happen.
1. Solid running from McFadden and Bush
2. An acceptable level of passing from Russell (at least 150 yards in the air)
3. The defense will have to come up BIG! If we play like we did in week 2 on defense, we have a shot
4. Win the special teams war. Or at least, limit Buffalo
5 Win the turnover battle
This is not something new. If you have all of the above in every game, you will at least be in every game.
We are also going to need to look beyond this whole coaching controversy.
Go raiders!

Your first key is what scares me the most. If the Raiders can establish a run game, they have a very good shot of leaving Buffalo 2-1.

I hope so, but it will be tough to run on the bills. We are going to have to give Russell some of the reins, and let him make some plays. I am not happy with how conservative we are being right now, and we will have to see what Russell has eventually. So giving him a shot, earlier in the year, would be more benificial to our success.
You have a really good team, and the only thing that could stop you, is if they get too full of themselves, and dont take the Raiders seriously.
Lets just hope that we can both be 2-1!
