Aftermath of Cut Day

Well, with the exception of signing back a few cut players to the infamous practice squad, the suit, ties and turtlenecks over at 1265 Lombardi have been quiet.

Returning from CutSaturday, are Wide Recievers Jake Allen and Brett Swain. Also retained, were running back DeShawn Wynn, corner back Joe Porter, lineback Danny Lansanah, tight end Joey Haynos, along with defensive tackle Alfred Malone and center Brennen Carvalho.

So far, only one Packer cut was retrieved by another club, the Colts grabbed defensive tackle Daniel Muir.

The Packers have not put claim towards former long snapper Thomas Gafford, possibly an indication they are going in a different direction.

More on the new 53-man roster in the coming days and a preview of Game 1 vs. the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, September 8th.

Is Carlyle Holiday still in GB? He was a QB at ND and played in Arizona for a bit when I was out there. Just curious.
