Eagles WR Curtis goes down.

The eagles will now be missing Curtis for a undetermined amount of time after being hurt in last week’s game against Carolina.  With Reggie Brown also nursing his own injuries it will me from what I can see Hank Baskett, Greg Lewis (still have no idea why he is on the team), & DeSean Jackson getting much of the time this week against New England.

What I don’t understand is Reid saying they won’t pursue anybody in a trade.  Maybe I need the same blinders that he has because I can not seeing them doing a whole of anything in this division with the current group left at wide receiver.

Tough luck for an already thin recieving core.
Maybe they can do that trade with Arizona, Boldin for Dawkins!!

i would stop watching them if they insulted dawkins that way he has been the heart and sould of this team.

it would probably take shepard and a high pick, but i cant trade anything higher then a 3rd. i just have a gut feeling that the 2009 draft will be a very deep one and want the birds to take full advantage of it.

From all accounts it sounds like Jackson has looked good so far. He could be a nice gem for the Eagles!

He has looked very good but its against plain coverages and defenses. That will change once the games are for real.

They still have nobody any team fears and can just lay off playing single coverage and focus on getting westbrook and mcnabb.
