Farve has been reinstated by commissioner Roger Goodell and is reportedly prepared to be Green Bay in time for Packers Family Night on Monday at Lambeau Field.
Commissioner Goodell was quoted as saying
“I think we have to force it,” Goodell told the NFL Network. “I think it’s come to the point where there needs to be some decisions made on behalf of the Packers, on behalf of Brett, on behalf of all the fans.”
With the Packers committed to Aaron Rodgers as their starting quarterback, Favre I’m sure will request a trade. Altough Minnesota seems to be Favre’s preferred destination, as a team that is still in the NFC North , the Packers would prefer to have Favre play for a team outside their division.
And so the plot thickens!

Family Night is today - 6pm at Lambeau, central time and I am one of the sellout 60,000+ that will be in attendance…Another twist but one we all saw coming.

Fill us in on what peoples thoughts are, which I’m sure you will.
It will be interesting to hear what Packer fans have to say.

Unreal that this is happening. The Packers are saying it is an open QB competition now between Favre and Rodgers.

What else could they say kev, there is no way in there minds that they think Rodgers will beat out Favre.
And if he did it’d be because they would be trying again to push Favre out the door.

I’m still hearing it’s Rodgers to lose. Who knows anymore.
All I can say, is that I’m sick of the “Favre” heading on ESPN’s bottom line. “NFL” would suffice.

I hesitate even turning on any ESPN stating because I dont need every single sold detail.
