News out of Cowboys land at training camp

Training camp has started and Dallas has all hands on deck. IE, everyone has showed up to training camp ready to play.
Some notes in Cowboy land, Dallas signed their two first round draft picks. RB Felix Jones who looks to have some playing time to help / assist Marion Barber III behind QB Tony Romo. CB, Mike Jenkins also signed and looks to compete for some playing time at that position. Dallas all-pro Terrence Newman went down in a practise with what coaches are calling a mild leg-strain and does not look serious but that could put some pressure on draft pick Jenkins to compete earlier than expected.
WR Terrell Owens and Adam ‘don’t call me Pacman anymore’ Jones have shown some competitiveness in practise covering each other and well Owens blew past Jones, it was all in good football Cowboy Nation practise. Watch for both of these players to complement each other once the season gets started and the Cowboys look to improve on last year and go a little further in the playoffs.
Remember this is the last year of Cowboy stadium and if any of you have the opportunity to get online, check out the new Cowboy stadium, it looks really nice and maybe one day I will be able to give it a visit and root-root-root for the home team.
Check back soon for some more training camp info and what is going on in Cowboy Nation, as well as how the team is preparing for the start of the season.
Cheers everyone,
‘Stantsy’
