As it has been stated repeatedly in the past, nothing good happens at 4AM, especially if your a professional athlete. Kearse was arrested just outside Vanderbilt University for driving erratically and speeding. There were two other car occupants. The car was released to one of the occupants who was not intoxicated.
I don’t have a problem with athletes going out and having a good time and even getting “liquored up” on occasion. Just use your noodle and have someone else drive the car home. Hire a limo, walk, call a Taxi. I’m continually surprised at how this continues to happen week after week and sometimes day after day.
I’ve never met Jevon Kearse but from what I hear he is a good guy and hasn’t had any previous incidents with the police. Hopefully this will be his last. As I have previously written, there has been a great vibe around the time this year and I’m sure the Titans will move on from this distraction.

It’s sad isn’t it? You make a great point about getting a taxi, walk, etc. It isn’t as if they can’t afford the cab fare.
These athletes are just like any of us, and need to have a good time like you say. It is just a shame that they can’t make intelligent decisions after they’ve had a good time.

I cant believe how many players in the NFL get caught drinking and driving.
First of all, they have lots of money, which means that they are driving expensive cars, which means that the cops looks for expensive cars, and they will notice if you are driving eratically, or just pull you over because they can. So knowing that, why would you take the chance? (not that it is acceptable otherwise).
As the quote goes “God must love stupid people, because he made so many of them!”
