Celtics dump Lakers in Game 6 and win 17th NBA Title

The Lakers were never in this one.  As they say defense wins championships and Boston proved that in the NBA final.  The Lakers took a big step in getting back to their winning ways this year but they are still one or two players away from winning it all.  First order of business, trade Lamar Odom!

I don’t think it is any debate that Jodan is better than Kobe..however people really don’t get how good Kobe is. He should have several MVP trophies and he already has plenty of rings. Kobe might be the closest thing to Jordan we ever see. Heck most people didn’t expect this Laker team to make the playoffs and look what he did with them this season.

My hat is off to KG, Pierce, and Ray. Nice to see 3 class acts win one.

Outside of Game 5, Gasol was a no show and Odom was inconsistent as always. Kobe really had no help but this was a very young team that learned alot and heading into next year if Kupcheck(spelling ?) makes a few moves allowing the team to get better again, the Lakers will could win it all.

What a shellacking!!! I’m so glad for two reasons. 1.) I’m a Celtics fan 2.) I despise Koby Bryant

Speaking of youth Kevin, what a performance by the 2nd and 3rd stringers of the Celtics. They also look good for years to come.

So glad for Ray Allen and KG. Pierce solidified himself as a bonifide superstar. Nice to see a guy work hard to overcome adversity and change his ways into what is going to be a glorious career now.

The better team won, but KG still looked like a fool in his chat with Bill Russell.

Nice to see Jesus get another ring to go along with his title victory at Lincoln HS. Next stop….Big State University!!!!

Good on Boston for winning. They deserved it. 25-5 against the west this year and it showed……..and the lakers need 2 pieces, getting Bynum back will be huge for them.

As for KG, I thought he overdid it in the presser for sure, just the way he went on but then again this is the NBA and most of them think they walk on water.

Quick note Lebron is the closest you’ll ever see to Jordan, took these Celtics to seven this year, took the Cav’s to the finals last year and without him they challenge for the top pick in the Lottery.

Just ask Detroit whom he single handedly beat last year…

As for The Celtics, Paul Pierce played D like his life depended on it, he deserved the MVP
