I do have to say one thing however, if these children are trained properly and completely padded it's not quite the on rink wild punching you see in hockey fights, it is a sport in itself. I think Justin made a great point about children doing a formal martial art, but not MMA. you guys should check out his posting in our discussion on children fighting in MMA bouts. For anyone checking out the blog, make sure you watch the piece at the beginning with Dana White where he is a guest on a show. It’s 5 minutes long but worth the watch.
It is insane to hear him say that his kids have been fighting since 3 years old and that they are now 5 and 6 years old and in full flight training.
Can you imagine NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman telling fans in an interview that 8 year olds should be able to fight on the ice???????

Personally I think Dana White is a complete idiot. Exposing your kids to this is just wrong! He had a interview a couple of weeks back on Off the Record that was pretty good. Michael Lansberg drilled him pretty good.
