Toronto Unveils Ticket Prices, News & Notes

I chose to include the release of the ticket prices for the Bills/Miami game being played in Toronto this year with other news and notes, because I’m on a mission to eliminate the negative talk surrounding the proposition of the Bills going to Toronto. Thus, I will throw out the figures briefly, inform you that I wouldn’t expect to see too many die-hard fans in attendance, and advise you to wear a suit and tie so that you will be able to fit in with what will likely be the rest of the crowd. In order to enjoy the game from the lower level, be ready to fork out between $125 and $270 per ticket…Canadian. If you are looking for a bird’s eye view, you can grab an upper level ticket for anywhere between $55 and $215 Canadian.

On a more positive note, while I could not attend rookie camp in person, word is that first round pick Leodis McKelvin felt very comfortable with the defense, and was not as confused or green as many of the other rookies. Additionally, there seems to already be a rivalry heating up between he and second round pick James Hardy. Reports were that the two engaged in some heated battles for the ball, and positioning. This is not to imply that they don’t like each other, just that they both show a great deal of emotion and desire when jockeying for position – a good thing!

In other news, the Bills have released undrafted rookie free agent linebacker Joe Brockington out of Notre Dame; this coming shortly after the close of rookie camp.

Now that is some serious jack for tickets! As for the suits, I dont think it will be like Leafs games and all the suits and corporate folk in the 1st level, but that is just me.

As for Brockington, surprised he even got a FA tryout. He lacked alot while at ND.

HAHA! I know that is the case, I think I was just spewing some frustration. I know it won’t be a totally corporate atmosphere, but I do believe that there won’t be a lot of die-hards there.

As for Brockington, I think they liked his intangibles, but what he lacked in speed, quickness, and athleticism is what did him in.

I hear ya, dont blame you.

Brockington had a ton of heart and desire but like you said, lacked in other areas. CFL will be calling him.
