Cung Le new Elite XC middle weight champ

It was a great card which ended in the crowning of a new middleweight champ as frank shamrock was unable to make to bell for the start of round 4. Shamrock claimed a severe injury to the right arm though it appeared he was completely rocked by several punches and a couple powerful headkicks that did shamrock in at the end of the third. Shamrock was his usual flamboyant self, often turning his back and clapping when he was hit or knocked down.

Gilbert melendez retained his lightweight title by def gabe lemley by ref stoppage due to strikes in round 2.
