| The Dallas Cowboys woke up this morning all stuffed on turkey thanks to the New York Jets rolling over in yesterdays 34-3 Cowboy win. It was the first time the Jets played on Thanksgiving since 1985.
Dallas is 10-1 for the first time in franchise history. The game really was never that close as Dallas quarterback Tony Romo had solid numbers going 21-28 but only 195 yards with 2 TD’s and 1 INT before giving way to Brad Johnson late in the fourth quarter.  Dallas led in every category from first downs to time of possession 37:52 for Dallas and 22:08 for the Jets. I am starting to wonder if the Jets even showed up. Romo had TD throws to tight end Jason Witten and wide receiver Terrell Owens. Dallas had a strong running game thanks to Marion Barber III 103 rushing yards, 1TD and Julius Jones rushing for another 64 yards.    Dallas now has to focus on the 10-1 Green Bay Packers who travel to Irving to play the Cowboys next Thursday. Two storied franchises, Favre vs Romo, should be a good one, I know where I will be, on my couch… ‘Stantsy’ |
