Dallas back at it next week

Week 8 is a bye week for my beloved Dallas Cowboys. They go into the bye week 6-1 and in first place in the NFC East. Second place New York Giants are 5-2 and playing this weekend against the Miami Dolphins 0-7 in London, England. So we shall see how the Giants fair against the lowly Fish this weekend and if the division is any closer ‘Come Monday’ as my Pal Jimmy Buffet says (I know I made reference to that before but I throw it in there for my fellow Jimmy Buffet/Parrot heads fans-you know who you are). Really one will say that the Giants should ’squish the fish’.The bye week will allow the Cowboys to heal a few bumps and bruises they have. Tony Romo will get the extra week to heal his limp from last Sunday’s second half and Terrell Owens and Patrick Crayton can also mend their bruises as well. All three would of played had the Boys played this weekend which is good news and makes the bye week all that more important and the timing perfect.
Otherwise it basically gives the Cowboys extra time to prepare for the late game on November 4th against division rivals Philadelphia Eagles.
So that is it for a Cowboy bye week blog, enjoy the weekend and lets hope the Fish can pull something from the sea and beat the Giants and help out ‘them Cowboys’.
